The Process (4 Step Phase)
Initial Review
RFP & Documentation Review: Our engineering team conducts a thorough review of the RFP, technical documentation, and regulatory compliance to fully understand the project scope.
Expert Consultation: Once the initial review is complete, we provide strategic input based on our extensive experience in designing and assembling thousands of custom battery packs.
Project Alignment: This step establishes a clear flow of communication and ensures a mutual understanding of project requirements, expectations, and timelines.
Preliminary Design
Design Specification Development: Following documentation of project requirements and customer approval, we develop an initial design specification based on the review stage agreements.
Formalized Documentation: The process incorporates formalized documents and any other mutually agreed-upon requirements.
Preliminary Models & Diagrams: Depending on project complexity, we provide preliminary design diagrams and mechanical files with initial models.
BOM & Quoting: We include a preliminary Bill of Materials (BOM) along with a quote for the design and development phase of the project.
Design and Development
Design Initiation: Following the completion of the preliminary phase, our engineering team begins designing the custom product based on the approved specifications.
Comprehensive Quotation: We provide customers with a detailed quote covering the battery packs, Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE), and tooling costs.
Regulatory Planning: The quotation also accounts for all necessary regulatory testing required for the project.
First Articles
Initial Prototype Assembly: During this stage, we begin building the first article battery packs to verify the design.
Customer Testing & Evaluation: Once completed, the packs are sent to the customer for hands-on testing and performance evaluation.
Issue Identification: Before final approval, the customer has the opportunity to identify any design or performance issues arising from their end product or the battery itself.
Production Handover: Once the first articles are fully tested and approved, the project proceeds to full-scale production.
